    Job Purpose:

    The Religious Studies department invites applications for a full-time fixed term (non-tenure track) 1 year position beginning August 28, 2018 in one or several religions of the world and/or their sacred texts, comparative religion, or comparative theology. The position involves a 4/4 teaching load emphasizing excellence in undergraduate teaching.

    Required Qualifications:


     A Ph.D. in the relevant field of Religious Studies - ABD considered, with the expectation the candidate will have degree in hand by August 1, 2018.

     Demonstrated expertise in one or several religions of the world, sacred texts, comparative religion, or comparative theology.
